The Grand Celebration, scheduled for May 17, 2008, is expected to draw approximately 20,000 DC Metro area residents to this full-day of festivities commemorating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.  An additional 3,000 local residents are expected to attend the various cultural activities scheduled throughout the month in conjunction with the festival’s observance.
